Full course description
The Educational Opportunity Initiatives department would like to invite students currently in grades 4th – 8th to join us on the University of Michigan-Flint campus for 4 days to explore strategies that help students adopt a growth mindset, promote social and emotional intelligence, and inspire students to take risks to achieve academic and personal goals.
Students will learn:
- Strategies for fostering grit and overcoming obstacles
- How to develop emotional intelligence for success
- Different mindfullness techniques and coping skills
