The Hidden Curriculum Training: Empowering School Counselors

This course analyzes the unwritten social rules we follow in the classroom and how they translate in the online environment. We knnow that the hidden curriculum within the classroom is part of the students' community and transforms through discussions, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and other interactions. But what happens when students are required to communicate in online classrooms and how will that form their futures?

There are segments of our population that now complete their entire education from grade school on in online classrooms. How will that affect their social interactions with others as they grow and mature into working adults? Social media and online classrooms can have a significant impact on students' learning experiences and social development, and it can shape the hidden curriculum.
