- Discuss current rehabilitation management of the 3 most common abdominal surgeries and pelvic surgeries.
- Compare 3 rehabilitation-specific outcome measures for their effectiveness with patients 24 – 48 hours after pelvic surgery.
- Provide 5 effective rehabilitation strategies to enhance body system function immediately after pelvic surgery including neurological, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, and cardiopulmonary function.
- Implement 4 effective communication strategies that establish rehabilitation as a standard component of post-operative management after pelvic surgery and before hospital discharge.
