Full course description
- Attendants will understand the indications, contra-indications, and precautions pertaining to dry needling practice.
- Attendants will understand the regulatory governance matters pertaining to dry needling and a state’s practice act.
- Attendants will be able to demonstrate proper safe needling technique and correct universal precautions.
- Attendants will be able to demonstrate adequate palpation skills in isolating, finding, and holding a trigger point for the purpose of dry needling.
- Attendants will have an adequate knowledge of what dry needling is and is not, as well as know the difference between dry needling and other forms of needling modalities.
