Legal Scholars Exploration Program

Many dream about a legal career but have no idea how to explore if it is the right path. This camp will allow students in grades 8-12 to explore a legal career, hear from different lawyers, and prepare legal arguments. You’ll work alongside UM-Flint pre-law students as you build your knowledge about the law and confidence in your own abilities in writing, speaking, and presenting.

Objectives:

• Understand different legal careers and areas of the law
• Explore different legal skills such as legal writing, oral argumentation, and research
• Learn how to best prepare for law school as an undergraduate student
