This course is intended for current UM-Flint faculty.

This course has been approved by the Michigan Department of Education for 10 State Continuing Education Clock Hours.

Using an Excel-based tool, faculty can assess the quality of their courses according to 60 standards and sub standards related to technology usability and instructional design. This tool provides measurement criteria, benchmarks, ratings and a weighting system to provide an overview that is as objective as possible.

This course helps you determine if you are ready to enter the world of online teaching. You will be exposed to some of the challenges you will face as you will face as you reflect on the design, development, and delivery processes needed to transition to the online environment.

This 2-day interactive summer camp is for incoming high school students grades 9-12 who are considering a career in nursing. The camp will include fun, hands-on experiences to introduce campers to all that nursing has to offer. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in activities with the goal of developing a passion for nursing. Faculty, staff, and current students in the School of Nursing will be present to work with campers and answer any questions that they may have related to the nursing program as well as the nursing profession.
